IOTEQ Systems Pte Ltd (“IOTEQ”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data through our website at ioteqsys.com (the “Website”) and when you contact us, in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”).

1. Who we are

IOTEQ Systems Pte Ltd is a company incorporated in Singapore, located at 16 Shaw Road, #06-11, Singapore 367954. We provide system integration, Internet of Things (IoT), smart kiosk and software-as-a-service solutions.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect personal data in the following ways:

• Enquiries: information you give us when you email us, message us on WhatsApp or meet us, such as your name, job title, company, contact details and the content of your message.
• Mailing list: if you subscribe to updates from us, your email address and any details you provide when signing up.
• Automatically collected data: when you visit the Website we and our service providers collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring website and the date and time of your visit.

Please do not send us sensitive personal data (such as NRIC numbers, health or financial information) through the Website unless we specifically ask for it.

3. How we use your personal data

We use personal data for the following purposes:

• responding to your enquiries and providing quotations, proposals and information about our products and services;
• entering into and performing contracts with you or your organisation, including delivery, installation, support and maintenance;
• sending you updates or marketing information where you have agreed to receive them (you can unsubscribe at any time);
• operating, securing and improving the Website, including preventing spam, fraud and abuse;
• understanding how visitors use the Website so that we can improve its content; and
• complying with legal and regulatory obligations.

• service providers who help us operate our business and the Website, such as our web hosting provider, email providers and the services listed in section 6, who may only use it to provide services to us;
• our partners and subcontractors where needed to deliver a project or service you have requested; and
• regulators, law enforcement agencies or other parties where required or permitted by law.

6. Third-party services, cookies and analytics

The Website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are needed for the Website to work and to keep it secure; others help us understand how the Website is used. The Website uses the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics (Google LLC) to measure visits and usage. It uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_*. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Google Fonts to display the Website’s fonts, which means your IP address is sent to Google when fonts load.
• Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.) to manage our mailing list, if you subscribe. See the Intuit Privacy Statement.
• WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc.), if you choose to contact us through WhatsApp. Your messages are also handled under WhatsApp’s Privacy Policy.
• Security services on our web server, which log IP addresses and requests to protect the Website against attacks.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, some parts of the Website may not work properly.

7. Transfers outside Singapore

Some of our service providers store or process data outside Singapore, including in the United States. Where we transfer personal data overseas, we take appropriate steps to ensure that it receives a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.

8. Protection and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect personal data in our possession against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required for legal or business purposes, after which we securely delete or anonymise it.

You may ask to access the personal data we hold about you, find out how it has been used or disclosed in the past year, or correct any error or omission. We may charge a reasonable fee for access requests and will tell you the fee before processing your request.

The Website may link to websites operated by others. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
